Business Analyst
Sit at the junction of business pain points and technical solutions: elicit requirements, map processes, quantify impact, and give delivery teams the clarity they need to build the right thing.
About the role
Clients rarely arrive with a requirement. They arrive with a frustration — something takes too long, numbers do not reconcile, staff maintain a spreadsheet nobody will admit to. Your job is to get underneath that to the actual process, and to be willing to report that the problem is not the one you were engaged to solve.
This is a strong entry point into consulting because you see the full arc: discovery, delivery, and whether the thing actually helped once it was live. You will spend real time with the people who do the work, and the quality of your listening will matter more than the quality of your documentation.
What you'll do
- Elicit and document business requirements and process maps
- Analyze current-state pain points and quantify improvement opportunities
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
- Support UAT planning and change management with client teams
What you'll bring
- 2+ years in business analysis on software or automation projects
- Strong process-mapping and requirements-writing skills
- Analytical comfort with data, metrics, and business cases
- CBAP/CCBA or agile BA certifications an asset
Nice to have

- Experience building business cases with cost and benefit modelling
- Working SQL or spreadsheet modelling for analysing operational data
- Familiarity with process notation such as BPMN
- Experience supporting change management and end-user training
