Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Build enterprise-grade web platforms and products — including our Crumbly customer engagement platform — using TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, and modern cloud infrastructure.

Mississauga, ON Full-time Hybrid (Remote / Onsite)

About the role

This is a senior role in the practical sense: you will own features from database schema through to the pixels, and you will be the person others ask when a decision needs making. Our engagements range from greenfield products to systems carrying a decade of history, so comfort reading unfamiliar code matters as much as writing new code well.

We are small enough that your architectural choices survive contact with production and you get to live with them. That is both the appeal and the responsibility — you will see the consequences of your decisions rather than handing them off. If you enjoy mentoring and reviewing code generously, there is room here to shape how the whole team works.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement full-stack features across frontend, API, and data layers
  • Set engineering standards for quality, testing, and maintainability
  • Participate in architecture decisions and technical design reviews
  • Mentor engineers and review code with rigor and generosity
  • Work directly with clients to shape and deliver solutions

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years building production web applications
  • Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js; Next.js preferred
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/Supabase, REST/event-driven APIs, and CI/CD
  • Track record of ownership from design through operation

Nice to have

  • Experience modernizing or incrementally replacing legacy systems
  • Comfort with performance profiling, caching strategies, and database tuning
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and building for assistive technology
  • Prior consulting or agency experience across concurrent clients

Your first 90 days

What success looks like early on, so you know how you will be measured before you accept.

  1. 01Take ownership of a substantial feature area on a live client platform
  2. 02Raise the testing or release process on one codebase in a way the team keeps using
  3. 03Run design reviews and begin mentoring at least one engineer
