Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out how the SparkSolutions website and services may and may not be used. It exists to keep our systems secure and available for everyone.

Effective date: July 24, 2026 · SparkSolutions, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to anyone who accesses the SparkSolutions website or uses services we provide. It complements our Terms of Use; where a separately executed agreement governs a client engagement, that agreement takes precedence for those services.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the site and our services for lawful business purposes: to learn about SparkSolutions, to contact us, to apply for a role, and — where you are an authorized user — to access services provided to you. We ask that you use them honestly, respectfully, and in a way that does not interfere with others.

3. Prohibited activities

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data
  • Introduce malicious code, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without our written permission
  • Disrupt or degrade the operation of the site or services, including through automated overload
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data through automated means except as expressly permitted
  • Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that you have no right to provide
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization
  • Use the site or services to send unsolicited communications or to violate the rights or privacy of others

4. Security research

We welcome good-faith security research conducted in line with our Security policy's responsible-disclosure terms. Testing that stays within those terms is not a violation of this policy.

5. Consequences

We may suspend or restrict access, remove content, and take further action — including reporting to authorities where appropriate — in response to activity that violates this policy or applicable law.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Revised versions take effect when posted on this page with an updated effective date.
